Weekend Shift Maintenance
Make mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to plant equipment. Also, troubleshoot, plumbing, welding, and operate a forklift. Capable of performing Preventive Maintenance.
Must be able to read machine prints, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics; Must have forklift certification; Must
follow lockout/tag out procedures; Must be able to relocate equipment; Must be able to repair equipment (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, & mechanical); Must be able to assemble/set-up machinery equipment; Must be able to perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines continue to run smoothly; Must plan repair work; Must have some prior maintenance experience; Must be able to follow safe work procedures; Ingenuity and initiative needed. Job also requires considerable physical effort.
This position is for -Weekend Shift Maintenance / Sat/Sun/Mon, 12hr shift, 36hrs/wk
We do offer a lot of on-the-job training for this position.

Mahle (piston) Department - 2nd shift
Setup and run the Hause, welder, and Fanuc robots. Support the Cell Manager in labor decisions and corrections. Support special projects. Perform Root Cause Analysis on out of compliance issues. Communicate clearly.
An understanding of piston manufacturing processes/setups is a plus. Must have a willingness to learn and apply basic robotic principles. Must have good reading and math skills and be capable of keeping accurate records. Must be able to read and use various gauges and measuring instruments. Must have blueprint reading and SPC experience. Must have excellent safety ethics. Must be able to make the necessary decisions involving some adjustments while carrying out instructions and standard procedures. Must possess a continuous improvement approach to assignments in order to maintain and improve cell quality standards. Must be disciplined in housekeeping and safety considerations. Must have some maintenance/mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
This position is for 2nd shift - 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday with some overtime
We do offer a lot of on-the-job training for this position.

Mechanical Engineer Intern
Position Objective:
The Mechanical Engineer Intern will participate as a valuable member of the engineering team at WEG by working directly with the engineering staff in all activities related to design and develop electric motors, taking in consideration customer specifications and manufacturing capabilities. This is a paid internship that requires a minimum commitment of 2 semesters and 20 hours preferred, per week. The intern will work with the engineering team doing a variety of tasks related to the development of electric motors for a wide range of applications and the redesign of engineering systems and processes. This position will provide the opportunity to learn the real-world application of many software tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight, Ansys and Microsoft Office. This position will report to a full-time engineer at WEG. Salary based on experience.
- Participate as a multidisciplinary engineering team member;
- Learn existing engineering systems;
- Assist with redesign of existing engineering systems and processes;
- Assist with design of new product information systems;
- Attend and participate in team meetings as required;
- Work with many types of product information.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Actively enrolled in a technical field of study (Mechanical engineering) and, either in or entering, your Junior or Senior year;
- Attention to details;
- knowledge in Microsoft office software applications.
